Any 111 strap ideas?

I have a modded 111 from TWP on the way. Im thinking either a dark brown, cordovan (maroon), or weatherd/distressed look. any opinions and pics?

Hey Mickeypro, I firmly believe that if you are having a tough time deciding you should get them all! All kidding aside I really like the dark brown to med brown on the PAMs. Who are you thinking of going with for your strap?

An ammo strap from savage_here or tootall? That's where I'd start. Think of it as giving some business to your "local" business owners. :wink:

horological_unitas has a bunch for sale at a great price. by the looks of the length most of them should age well.

I would say that strap selection would greatly depend on what you wear with the watch.

Say if you're the smart casual type; then an ammo or anything vintage looking would match well, but if say you are mostly business boardroom style, then I'd go for a darker color or a Croc strap.

The good thing about PAMs is that it matches well with any strap you can think of.

This is a tough question because so many straps look awesome with it.
It looks stunning with a SS bracelet. Looks great on a dark brown leather w. polished buckle...Looks great
with black leather...
Do your self a favor....
1. rep SS bracelet
2. dark brown + black leather strap
3. genuine rubber

The 111 looks awesome with all of it!

I had a SS PAM before, and i have a Dark Brown Buffalo grain with white stitching [24/24] from taikonaut. Really thick, 5mm to 3mm taper and not over the top.

To be honest, imo I don't think there is a "bad" combination with the 111. Exotics, vintage, smooth, grainy, etc. They all look good with the 111.

I know that may not help you narrow it down, but trust me, whatever you choose will look good on it.

go with what you like, like everyone's been saying

you can't really go wrong with combos for the 111.. it all boils down to what pleases your eye the most
