Hallo, i want to buy a bronze, so i think the 968 its a good choice for me and i have look it yesterday in a jewelery in Switzerland.
But i'm little confused also reading the previus posts, so the questions are:
1) for the movement is better the VSF 9000 or ZF 7750?
2) about quality of bronze is better VSF or ZF
3) about color of bronze is better VSF or ZF, one look on more yellow and one more pink
Looking the picture of gen and also the video of its assembly by Panerai, seems that the case is polished hand made very well, the rep seems to have more machinery sign, and the case present even if new, already has some stains, i'm not speaking of the "called"patina, byr something else.
So, many thanks -kz650

I wouldn't worry too much on the exact color. Reason being that it will patina nicely and you'll never tell the difference.

Hello!

There are several possible answers to your question. The first, from availability: You are unlikely to buy a new ZF Panerai (the latter accidentally appeared in a small edition 2-3 years ago, and even then, were not really ZF), so you can consider buying only for the VSF model in bronze.

Second, regarding the comparison of VSF and ZF - they crossed paths only on PAM382 and on this model VSF is better.

Regarding the comparison of movement, the one that fits the model is good, and for PAM382, of course, it is better to have a P.9000 VSF clone, and for PAM671 only 7750 with decorative plates.

However, if today you buy a watch new, then for 47mm it will be only PAM968, and they are only from VSF and only with a P.9000 clone. Rare and not very suitable ZF PAM968 declared once were bad and are unlikely to be in stock.
