Hey guys,

I recently lost the Crown guard on my luminor. It came unscrewed and fell out and I can't locate it or the screws. I emailed Ryan for a replacement. Anyone else have advice? I can literally pull the crown out of the watch at this point, but it also still winds can the time can be set.

Perhaps someone CONUS has an extra part I could buy from them so I don't have to wait for the Shipment from Asia?
I'll post a pic of it from tapa.

Thanks,
Moldy

That's the problem with some of the CG screws. They aren't locked in place by thread locker for the most part and worst case not even screwed in tightly. I am actually missing one screw on a PAM right now. Best option would be to reach out to your friendly neighborhood TD.

You can find replacement crown guards and screws on eBay.

I cant get thread locker to work on asian made steel. If you can, tell me how you do it. Tried it many times and discovered it has to be real steel.

Always tighten then when you receive a watch.

Real steel as opposed to Asian made "fake" steel? Steel is steel. It may not be of the same grade as what some brands use like 904 steel, but it is still steel, composition wise.
