I was posting something a few hours ago and I notice I am close to 3000 posts and I love that silly threads with the subject look I have XXXX posts and everyone saying congrats etc, so here I am making another one of these silly threads!!!!!! :biglaugh:
I am thinking of something really cool to write but I really don’t have… lol
Its been 4 years and I remember how was here when I came, and the progress that have been made is bloody huge! And I don’t speak about the reps, we all know that they have become 100 times better and they will become even better, I am talking about the awesome guys that have joined this community!!! I am talking about the stuff that is giving thousands of hours to keep this place running for all of us, the watch junkies! Keep up the great work guys!
I will close with a little story… It was a couple of weeks ago, I was out with some friends, drinking and having fun! So, as we all do, I was checking around everyone's watches, but I couldn't see anything special… After an hour approx. a guy around 60s enters the place, he sits in the bar and orders his drink. I don’t know much about them but it was a rollie for sure, I couldn’t say the model and of course if it was gen or rep...
The only thing passed my mind was that this guy could be one of you. I had nothing in common with him though, if I had to talk to him I would have to address to him with the word Sir, I mean he had the age of my dad… He may had a family, kids, grand kids... ?e was wearing a nice pair of shiny shoes, i was wearing my all star, he was drinking his whisky, i was drinking my rum etc. So not much in common with me, except maybe the same passion for watches…? That’s exactly what we all share, regardless our age, nationality, jobs, political ideas, characters etc…
I hope you know what I am talking about. Either way I will drink to this tonight!!!
