1st time buyer with Hont. Ok so Hont is money. You get the watch in a timely manner. Had to clear the sale with the CC company. Other than that painless, and I will use him again.
I just got home and snapped a view quick dirty pics and went to dinner with the watch on. I love it.
First impressions are the band is much more comfortable then I expected. At first I thought it would be awkward in it's fit, but after sizing it, ( you have to cut the rubber) and wearing it, I love the fit. Very comfy, as if it's not there. No cut whatsoever in the band with the metal inserts. It's a perfect fit.
The watch is a stunner, and will be noticed. The dial markers seem to be placed perfectly, and the lume is rep lume, but for me it's fine. The placement of the date wheel is fine, and does not look out of place at all. Nice magnification. The finish is excellent. I cranked up the power reserve and it seems to be functioning perfectly so far. That's the good...
Now for the critiques...
The movement is a bit choppy. Nothing to bad... but not @ 28.8
The case is heavy. Gen I believe is titanium, and lite as a feather, so it will not compare in any stretch. My rotor has what seems to be a dirt print of some type. Could be a finger print. I am going to try and have it removed. If not, I asked Hont if I can get another rotor. The clasp has a gap in it. Not sure if the gen does or not, but it really does not bother me. It's also missing the rubber covers on the pushers of the clasp.
Over all I am pleased, and feel it was worth the wait. I will buy all the other variants that follow. I really like this watch.
