Apparently Aaron Faber is someone you can trust ... :callme:

"Stay away from Aaron Faber Gallery! Ed Faber is a very bad example of how business should be done in the vintage watch market.These people have no intergrity and are not worthy of trust.It is very easy to deceive people in the world of high-end vintage watches, and Ed Faber is a master of deception. Avoid this guy and this business !"

[h=3]the seller wrote to me;
Listen, if you think the watch is not authentic, instead of insulting me, why don't you direct me to a few reasons why you think it is / evidence. I am happy to inspect it AND will ask my jeweler to examine it again. The watch was inspected by a jeweler on 5th Avenue who examined the movement and casing and concluded that it is authentic. If you have specific concerns about the watch, I will examine it again and ask him too. However, just insulting me and saying you think it's fake doesn't help me understand why or investigate it further.

Once again, if you provide a few reasons for why you think it is fake / some evidence I am happy to inspect again and ask my jeweler to as well. I would never risk selling a non-authentic timepiece. Thank you.[/h]

I believe the guy. He seems to have sold quite a few watches. I doubt this would be the big score for him. His jeweler probably got fooled and/or was too lazy to open the case back. Give him the tells to see how he responds.

the seller removed the listing.
his response:
[h=3]You are sending me links about replicas but not any evidence mine is one. A review of Aaron faber does not help either...there are im sure hundreds of reviews saying the opposite. I will try to get a second opinion this weekend[/h]
