I can't tell from the pictures, but does Andrew's 127 have the fixed cannon pin? I didn't even realize he carried with upgraded lume until this morning. Very cool offering!

I searched for a comparison between Davidsens and Andrews, but found nothing. Anyone have any suggestions on this?

Mpala,

Which one did you mean.

On the $298 one irt just say "Dial Glows of course!"

Have you emailed him about this, is it really Superlumed :?:

I think I'd want to see Superlumed C1 or C3

Having said that you are now tempting me as well :D

That my $0.02

Andrews does not have a cannon fix...also(from personal experience) the alleged "sapphire crystal" exploded!! Andrew is taking care of this problem for me...

the exploding "sapphire" is quite an issue w the 127's. Davidsen was selling replacements for a good price. I bought one from a member here and it was perfect.

Well worth the research on finding the perfect fiddy. Imo, davidsen offers the top fiddy if you will give it much wear.

Good luck!!

Wow, this topic has been very active today. Anyhow, I saw Andrew's 127 this morning and the lume looked very nice. I didn't know if it was Superlumed or not.....but according to Rogerwine it is not! I'm sad to hear that this watch doesn't have the cannon fix. I have always purchased from Andrew, but for now I think I'm leaning towards Davidsen on his Fiddy.

I'm looking at Davidsen's 6152-1 as well...not sure which one I'm going to get....BUT, I'm narrowing it down.

Basically, I was hoping Andrew had an "ultimate" 127 Fiddy.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback

Angus has a fully modded 127 available with lume, canon pin fix, and dagger movement... but to be honest, I got the fully modded 111H and was not impressed with the lume... it's somewhere between standard rep and Vac or RBJ's lume jobs... it's definitely more than my other "stock" panerais but not anything to show off...

Bottom line -- if you can live with the need regulator on the swan neck, you can't beat Davidsen's Fiddy. If you have to have a dagger, the answer isn't so straight-forward.

Well said!....After looking at all of the options again......Davidsen's is still very tempting. I need to slow down buying this month...LOL

Actually Davidsen just e-mailed me back about the 127 and he know includes the dagger on the swan neck, I think his has to be the top choice.
