I've owned many automatic replica wristwatches over the past 15 years, including some very inexpensive models with unknown movements that are still running. However, my PAM2223 with a P900 movement stopped working after just 6–8 months, despite being rarely worn.
I attempted to have it repaired locally, but no watch repair shop would take it on, citing the inability to source replacement parts if needed. I reached out to Elliot, who was extremely helpful and immediately offered to have it repaired. There were some shipping delays due to Chinese New Year, but within a couple of weeks, Elliot sent me photos and videos of the repaired watch and shipped it back using an expedited method.
I’m genuinely impressed by his willingness to stand behind his products and ensure a smooth repair process.
I really like the VSF Panerai lineup and would love to expand my collection, but I have concerns about the reliability of the P900 movement. Did I just have bad luck with this particular watch, or are there known issues with the movement? Given how widely it’s used, I find the latter hard to believe.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
