Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice/feedback for me. I want to get a AMMO strap as I like the look a lot. I started looking in the trusted dealer section andI've found multiple venders that can sell me beautiful straps. The prices range between around $100-$300.

This is a daily beater, and I don't really feel like spending an arm and a leg right now for a strap.

I see some on ebay between $50-$100.

Anyone have any advice on where to get a good quality ammo strap on the cheaper side?

Thanks

Check out timebandit aka Uwe. He's a great guy to deal with. I have a few ammo straps on order with him right now.

I had a couple of straps from jose... One was fantastic - supple and awesome. The other looked just as good but was too thick which made it unusable without thining down the leather

I'd go with Timebandit, his staps are a miracle, well under usd100 even with a buckle, and he has his handmade buckles which are unbeatable!

What's more, he is a very kind guy to deal with;)

There are many out there it just has to be thinned so its not that hard. Depending on the ammo pouch used the leather might need to be conditioned so its softer. They look really nice, I love ammo straps

I would look on the used market
It would open up your options to many good strap makers

While you still won't be in Kevin or TedSu range you could definitely find a Rob Montana or other high end maker of ammo straps in your budget as well as many of the options in the posts above
Good Ammo straps are made to last a long time, so for best bang for your buck buy pre-owned
