AMF Delivery Issue - Looking for feedback

Hi.

I'm having some issue with AMF delivery policy.

In middle November 2021 i sent payment for 2 AP 15400 /15500

After much longer waiting due to many reasons (Pandemia/Holidays/CNY etc etc etc) last week (12 weeks from payment) i got the 15400

Nothing to Argue on quality of what i received.

The problem is the 15500 DLC model that at present day is not able to be predicted when will be produced.

I decided then to go for a second chance by ordering a different brend/model Roger Dubuis Excalibur

Here as well AMF can only suggest to pay the full amount and wait.

Beside i think it's not a correct selling policy to take FULL amount for an order that is not 100% sure can be produced what make me more concerned is that

there is no space for an answer..

Does someone goes trought very long delivery time for (let's say "NOT COMMONLY ORDERED) his watch?

You ordered a 15202 and 15500 black DLC.

The problem is the 15500 DLC model that at present day is not able to be predicted when will be produced.
As we have stated to you. We, like any other dealer here or elsewhere that does not hold readily available stock, can impact the delivery times of the factories. If we could, we would but we can not.
We have offered to you to change to a different watch a few times but if you, as you said, want this specific watch and nothing else, there is only one option in order to get it.

There has NOT been a placed order and we had suggested to you to wait until this current order is fulfilled and completed before placing another order. We are paying the full price to the supplier, factories upfront in order to get the watches. This industry does not work like amazon or other industries and thus there can be no 100% accurate ETA's or deadlines as problems or drawbacks are possible to happen at any point.

After telling us just a few hours ago that you are not trying to put the blame on us, this surely does make it sound differently. We are in no way delaying the delivery time of your order and if we could get the watch yesterday, we would have preferred to have gotten it the day before yesterday. Delays like this are a burden to us as well as you but as said, we can not impact the way the factories are delivering stock. It will arrive when the backlog has cleared and the watch on order is being delivered.

Hi.
The post was created before you spoke with him (i'm the second order buyer) about having more delivery update by monday.
Again we are aware of the situation with factory involved into this market but, anyway, it's still very strange that an industry that do this 24/7
is not aware if they can or not produce a watch. I'm not expecting a precise date but at least a month. 6 monyhs? it's ok.. at least the buyer know a realistic delivery time.
Is not better than hear the buyer asking you every 1/2 weeks where are his watches?

No argue, but just a more transparent feedback from you and other buyers.
