Just like to share my alternative to using loctite, this item should be easily available in any household.

The tread seal tape.

I use it to seal the CG screw from loosen and losing...the best thing is you can always remove them when you want to, and its hold up quick secure and tight.

...but purpose if this tape is different. It is not about tight grip but to seal.

Looks like a good alternative. Just don't use too much tape....this will cause it to bind up when screwing it in.

I agree with Polonus and Rwolf
This is Teflon seal tape
This is not a locking system for threads, this is just a sealing system
Be carefull because Teflon is very sliding and can make easier the loosing of the screws. Really the opposite effect.

agreed. teflon tape is not really a good idea. If you don't want to splurge on blue loctite, then just use white glue.

Noob here.

Its enough to dip just the screws in 242 Loctite? Or do you have to apply it to the thread holes? Cause that would be a pain.

Also is removing the screws straight forward or do you have to be careful with something?

Thank you for any input.

222-242 and 243 are good for this purpose
A bit of loctite in the screw OR in the thread (as you want) will be enough.
