Those are $20 Onolas from AliX, there are a bunch of different ones but that's the most common, search for "barrel watch" and you'll find tons of them. They're a good source for some parts but that's about it.

That's a good point.
If you find the right ones (usually RM11 shitters advertised as unbranded) you can harvest two crystals (front and back) both with blue AR. It's kinda shitty AR but it's there, and aftermarket no AR crystals are like $15 each so $20 for two plus a midcase and all the dial deco is a good deal. I wish the hands were better (they run Sunons instead of VKs so they're not interchangeable) but you can harvest a bunch of parts to either use or model your own parts from.

Being that I am just getting into watch repair/making and trying to learn as much as I can. this is very useful. Thank you!

The Cronus Art watches are indeed very nice!

The problem is, if you wear a fake RM, everybody knows you wear a fake RM because they are so ridiculously overpriced that only the top 0.1% of the population can afford one.

And if you buy a beautiful Cronus Art watch, everyone looking at your wrist will assume it's a fake RM, until they look closer, and then they'll still pity you for wearing a "cheap" homage to an RM.

With RM, there's no winning this game . . .

Glad they seem to have stopped trying to flip a BBR v1 movement for $15k like they used to. That chrono looks nice and looks like a skeletonized 4130 clone in there. Prices are still a bit high for what they are but that's what happens when you're selling an "homage" brand instead of a rep, lol.

I really like the cronus cm09-005, the choice of colors is really nice, in another register there's the tsar bomba Chivalry (old name) or Reactor (new name) which look really nice, after that is the price in line with the quality of the watch and the level of finish that I do not know.

Someone had explained that cronus watches were sold at retail for 50% less, so I don't know if it would be possible to find them 30 or 40% below the recommended retail price.
