Alright, we've had a million threads/Topics on straps, but what about buckles? I know there are a ton of buckles available out there, what are some of your favorite buckles for those nice custom straps? [smilie=alien.gif]

Nice buckles, az!

I like TC Straps screw in buckles for the larger watches or if you have a tapered strap (these buckles are BIG, but very nice). I also have bought buckles from an eBay seller called wholesaleoutlet990. They are very nice as well, but I think Faisal overcharges for S/H a bit. The Watch Boys (eBay store) and panatime.com also look to have nice quality buckles. Strap Culture has some really different buckels, too, and they are high quality.

Here's a pic of a brushed 24mm GPF style buckle from TC Straps, keep in mind this is a 24/24 strap, these buckles are wide...

:p

yup, there's a TC pav and a genuine pav from panerai. i'll be getting another one from TC. :)

u basically try to flame blue the buckle by heating it w strong flame. it's really easy.

that croc's from pam2pam, custom made. his croc straps are underrated!

Azgjav, How do you rate PAM PAV to that of TC's? I understand there is such a big disparity in price. It'd be nice if you have a side by side comparo. Thanks.

Especially after the claims contemporary MP PAVs are made from the very same hides original PAVs were made during 90's, and in the very same Campi di Brelli factory. I'd be interested in comparison as well...come on mate, spill the beans!

cheers,

Are buckles pretty much a done deal on the straps, or can they be (easily) changed out?

Thanx in advance

It depends on the strap. If the strap uses a spring-bar or screw-in buckle, they can be swapped out easily. If the buckles are sewn-in, well.............

well..i'd have to say that the mp pavs are of really good quality! they're thicker than the pavs tho, pavs are 3-4mm thick and the mps are 5mm thick. stitching is really very very good on the mp. there's nothing for me to complain abt, really. :)
