Air king 34mm case dial size?

What is the maximum dial size for a 34mm air king case?
I've been getting some mixed answers from 27-28.5mm

Rolex dial size
34 mm case (Oyster Perpetual Date, Oyster Perpetual 34mm, Air King) = 27mm
36mm case (Datejust 36mm, Explorer I) = 28mm
36mm case (Day-Date 18238 / 18239) = 28.6mm

Replica Air King dials that you see on sites like raffles may be made to fantasy specs (i.e. non gen-spec) - they are incorrectly made to 28mm for 36mm case.

Is there any possibility that a 28mm dial would fit the 34mm air king case?

Having a nightmare of a time sourcing a 27mm dial for my little bros air king.

Watch has been keeping time with shocking accuracy but dial has lots of chips. Tried almost all of the tds if not all of them and nobody can source me a 27mm air king or similar dial for eta 2824.

I'm probably clutching at straws.

But worth asking as I have been told that a 28mm dial will fit in a 36mm case (planning on a Tudor heritage black bay 36 build)

Does anyone know where i can source a 27mm airking 14000 dial for eta2824?

You can find used Air King dials on eBay. They won't fit a 2824-2 but you can cut the dial feet off and use dial dots or glue the dial to the movement ring.
