Hey folks!
It just great to find fellow WAAs -- Watch Alcoholics Anonymous; but i guess no-one gets cured here, rather the addiction gets out of control in this supporting evironment.

I know this might get me flamed here, but till present day, other than a short stint with Citizen, I regained my senses, and humbly stuck with handy disposable timex ironmans. My take on things has been, either I get a really nice watch I enjoy having on my hand or just stick with simple something to keep time, not getting into the middle ground space.

I've spend lots of time glued to the screen, aweing the awesome photos good people have been sharing here. Thank you Pugwash and others.

For my first purchase, deciding between ICW Chrono GST Ti and Omega Speedmaster.

I wonder, who are the dealers to work with, who are locally in the US?
Also, I've seen a rep for Omega Speedy Perpetual Calendar, chrono with black dial. None of the dealers seem to carry it. It's a nice watch, does anyone know anything about this rep?

Look forward talking with you all!

Hello and Welcome to the Dark Side!

I have seen the Omega that you are talking about a couple of times. It comes and goes in its availability. You may want to talk to some of the dealers and see if they have one available or can possibly find it for you.

Joeyz400, Pugwash, Roeod4, Repmaniac - Thank you all for welcoming me in and advice.

Yep, seems like I might have to add an extra deduction in my tax return, for a watch collection addiction. On that thought, hmmm, wait I might be onto something, I think some hobbies are tax deductable!...good food thought for those who need an extra reason to drastically expand their collection and take dvantage of year end sales...dealers.. hint hint.

I'll ask razofish aboutt the Omega Perm Chrono, plus just in time, I think he is cooking up a sale for Labor Day festivities.

Pugwash, I'm eager to see your forthcoming review on IWC, of course especially the photos. And while I wait for my watch to arrive, I think I'll keep looking through your GST Chrono photos to help pass time.

Think my girlfriend though is starting to get jealous as I've been glued to the forum. From what I hear, it's a common affliction around here.

:D :D Welcome to the best rep forum on the web. Enjoy and visit often. Your choice for your first rep is very good. I have the Seedy and the IWC GST is on the way and should be here early next week. You can't go wrong with either one  8)

Reps are standart and readily availble. so I assume fixing them shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks!

That is a tough choice on the watches, the safe route is save up for both!
