Hey guys, I just got Navitimer on SS bracelet and wondering if I can reuse the deployment with the aftermarket leather strap (want to order a custom one) or I need to get a new buckle or deployment specifically for leather straps. Where can I get one?

You can reuse the deployant ...but
You should buy a cheap rubber strap made for the deployant so you can get the size correct. The deplayant has about 10 cm of adjustment. Here is a link to my process for sizing a deployant. The second link has more details you will need.

I do love rubber straps but looking for something more formal with navitimer.

You only need to buy the cheap rubber strap so you know what size to make your custom leather strap. When you order the leather you can't change the size more than 10mm using the deployant. So you need the length of both parts of the strap.

It really sucks when you make a strap too short

Do I hear someone with experience talking (writing) here? ;)

Tom's guides to size straps and bracelets are very useful. Prevents me and other newbie's from stupid mistakes and buying new straps because we f*cked up the first by cutting them too short! Great work tkingjr
