Affordable Tourbillon - AATOS Tiago

Been yearning for a Tourbillon watch w/o the big brand names like Hublot or Brequet. I came across this watch on eBay, AATOS Tiago, supposingly German brand but I checked reviews online that its based on Chinese movement. As I was the only bidder for the auction, I got it at US$ 400 which I thought was a good price.

The box was the standard cardboard jewellery box, and the strap was totally crap. I trashed it replace it with the rep IWC strap which was tons better. Its the dial and movement that shines thou, althought its fitted with mineral glass, I felt that that the clarity was really good and made the dial pop. Pics below

I saw these starting to show up a few months ago, but have not seen much feedback on them... Seagull handwind movement, if I'm not mistaken...

Seems a decent price for the movement

DW sells tourbillons now as well, although they have plainer dials. I think they are also around this price point!

I have been searching for these affordable tourbillons and most were 40mm and below, too small for my wrist and also their designs are oldish looking. The tiago is 42mm and in my opinion has a more refreshing look

Ah, I see!

Yes, I agree, 42mm is better than the 39mm version - the size is probably the only thing I really want to change on my DW Tourby!

I wouldn't mind blowing a couple hundred bucks on something that will last a few years.
