Watching this thread. I want to buy a Cartier Santos (35mm) but still not sure on the factory. Seems v6 and BVf are the best. Do anyone knows the diff between both?
Also looking for a Dumont XL but can’t find amy rep

BVF is the best for sure but the 35mm version have the floating R. The large version doesn’t have that. Now as the AF is out that might be the choice to make!

It looks good almost the same as BVF but no floating R. Same movement miyota right? Hope the screws are not glued. Which is more expensive? Bvf have extra straps..af doesnt have right?

They are almost the same price. Same movement. Unsure about the screws and strap.

Right now there is not a comprehensive review between these but the 35mm version on the Santos doesn’t have the floating R. Large BVF doesn’t have that issue. Basically all the TDs can get you the BVF.

If using TD pictures, then notice AF has the wrong hands. There is an absence of lume on both the green and blue dials.

I saw some QC photos have updated there dial with no floating R on BVF santos medium. I just ordered too and GL it. Will post it here when my watch arrive
