Hi all,

I am buying an Titanium T48 for my PAM 177H, with Asian UNITAS-6497 hand-winding movement at 21600vph.

Now I need to know the exact size.

I thinks it's a 1.2mm stem size, but do do I need anything extra ?

Does anybody have experience with this, so they can tell me exactly what I need:)?

Thanks in advance!

is it a old crown or one of the new batch?

the old crowns need a 1,20mm stem

the new ones are all 0.9mm, you need a special stem from T

i hope this helps

Exactly right. If it's one of the new, spring loaded crowns, you'll need the stem from tourby.

Hi thanks for the help....

It's a old one, because this was one of the first watches I bought back in 2007 :)

So, looks like I have to go for a titanium T48 crown with 1.2mm stem, and no extra:)....

(Maybe I wasn't clear enough in the first post...I am buying a T48 crown from Tourby, and I assumed I needed a new stem too, if I am correct :))

To be clear, the "old one" vs. "new one" discussion is in regards to trouby's crowns, not your watch. The non-spring-loaded t48 crowns would use a 1.2mm stem, which is the stock size for the 6497 movements.

His new, spring-loaded crown *only* comes in the .9mm size, and as such, needs a new stem to be used in your watch. Tourby can supply .9mm stems.

So, the size of your tourby crown determines whether you need a new/different stem or not. We need to know the size of your crown. If it is spring-loaded, we know it is .9mm.
