Hello there, I am looking to get my first PAM but I don't want to blow the bank out since I just bought an Omega and waiting my TC Sub plus ordered 2 DJs and my wife's BK should be in order soon.. well I see it now, I am doomed but please let me ask you if this is a good model to start with and if there are any serious issues with this movement and all

Hi, it´s not at all the typical PAM. Just my opinion, but I would skip it. You either need a sandwich or a sausage dial and less complications, take off the date as well, than choose a black or coffee-dial and You have a PAM. A 1940s/1950s diver would not take this one down. The 243 (with date) is considered one of the top models.

Yes you are right, I just thought of taking advantage of the sale itself plus I have never owned a white dial watch so thought might be a good idea. The sandwich dial is something I like on the PAMs so maybe need to wait some more time and let the idea (and studying) mature in me..

If you want a white dialed Pam, look at the older models with a closed case back. Toro had some on special and the prices between them are probably not that far apart. Then again, it's fun to explore new models and you can always flip it later. ;)

Hi, I've been looking at the PAM351 for some time now and suddenly now it's on Ryan's sale! The timing couldn't be better! But before that, can anyone help me verify that it is indeed the latest KW/V6F PAM351 V3 Q-Series that is supposed to come with the non inverted movement and not the older models that comes with the inverted movement?

Still new to PAMs but if I'm not wrong, it is what I'm looking for. Just need some confirmation before I pull the trigger.

At that great price I´d just get it and not worry about the movement. A rep movement is always recognizable as such. In the great scheme of things it doesn´t matter imho, it´s curiosities that are fun to discuss on the forum, same if the pin on the cg is 0,1 mm too high or not. Remember it will be holidays from 1 October to 15th with shipping backlogs etc, all will be closed.

Nothing wrong with the watch just not my favourite white dial. Take a look at the 188 on bracelet.

Can I hijack this slightly, and ask a bit more info:
I'm looking between similar 2 models : 312

One uses the A21J and the other the A7750. Would you also recommend the v6f one (A21J) over the ZF(A7750) ?
I couldn't find any solid info as to which was preferred, besides ALE's previous comment in this thread.

EDIT: Reading https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb...earch-Identification-Evaluation-amp-Selection - i see the V6F on is better (Seagull movement).


Or do you think the 351 is a better watch? Im stuck deciding between the two.
