Advice: any difference between PAM104 and PAM299??

I've looked into models 104 and 299 down to the nitty-gritty (as far as I can see through my noob-eyes), but I can't tell a difference.

Anyone out there know the distinction between these two models?

Other than (as far as I can tell) the dates the gen products were in production....

I see nearly identical specs for case size (44mm x 16mm), movement (OPIII 21J movement with 3Hz beat and 42hr PR), water resistant to 30ATM.

What am I missing?

I think the only difference between the two is that the 104 has a fully polished case while the 299 has brushed case and polished bezel and is a bracelet model.

I've got a 104 and love it!

I started thinking about maybe it was an open 6 vs closed 6 issue, but the case is a key detail too.
