same thing happen to my cartier pasha seatimer I got from Stan also, I tried so many times and different ways, and got the same result each time, NOTHING so I just got fed up with it and eventually left it running on the wrong date. However just 3 days ago, on one of my lunch breaks, I noticed that the time was wrong on my watch, so I continued to correct it to the right time ,usually its about 2 clicks from the dial to move the hands, but for some reason when I move the dial half way, I begin to head something clicking while I was turning the dial and it wasn't the time moving and it wasn't the same sound like the usually winding either, so I look down at the date wheel it I was finally moving. So bascially when you move the dials out, try half of one.

Good luck to you man.

I've got a SFSO with a similar issue - finding the spot where the date sets is difficult. I have 2 SFSOs; one where the date-setting position is unmistakable - you feel the click when the crown is in the correct position, but setting the date on the other one is not easy at all. I've chalked it up to QC issues.

Dave123-- on that model, you don't adjust the date on the crown. If you take a look on the left hand side of the case, there's a small circular indentation that is actually a button. Take a pen or something similar and press that button in. The date will change once you press it.

Does this Pam have the date adjust "pen tip button" at the 10o'clock on the case?

Im thinking about getting a power reserve, besides the date prob how do you like yours?

Also, if I'm not mistaken, this is the same model that Silix carries, but with a SS band. So, unlike many of the other PAM models, you may be able to replace the leather strap with a SS band if you have the hankerin'.

The button should be at 8:00, not 10:00.

Thanks Sean, yes i did notice that indentation on the side of the case at the 8,had no clue why it was there, would never have thought i would have to use a pin or pen with that to adjust the date, don't have the watch on me right now but i will do that in the morning,i'm sure all is fine now as i did notice that but had no clue its purpose,as for someone who asked if i liked it,yes very much now that the date issue is solved, great value from Stan, looks great.... 8)

As for the strap sean,i have a 111h on that SS band (love it) and an 005 on BOB gator (love it) and actually the leather strap that came with the power reserve from Stan is nice,i like it the way it is!...gotta say though if i didnt have the 111h on that SS band (got from Ruby),i would put it on this power reserve, that SS band is the nicest out there imo... :D
