If the mis-alignment is small you might get away with gently twisting the dial feet alignment, they will bend a tiny amount before snapping off. Or, there is a 'quick and dirty' fix by replacing the dial feet with adhesive dial dots so you can align the dial window with the datewheel.
The only other option I've used was to slightly enlarge the dial window, but you need to be confident you can match the dial finish if you try that route.
