Hey Vintagefriends,

For having a toolfree adjustment possibility, I've added an "easylink" to my 78790A Bracelet. It worked very well, so may someone else can also profiteer from my experience.
I only fined / sanded the mechanism a bit, so open / closing the extension needs less force, to not stress the stamped clasp to much.

I have ordered a few and two things I have realized.
The little bar it catches on is 1.8mm
A thinner springbar won’t work

The super cheap ones I got from Ali had a springbar that was ever so slightly small in diameter and wouldn’t give a solid click. So I added some translucent tape to thicken it.

Next is that these don’t work as well on a submariner clasp which has the diver extension, the divers extension is removed, and the clasp is thicker. This results in the easy link popping open when pressure is applied to your wrist.

I wonder how much better quality the ones from Ewatchparts/WSO are or the $$$ ones from steelreef

Great idea, and thanks for sharing the link to get it. I think I'll add one of these links to my 16610. It would be considerably more useful than the dive extension.

I think I still have one on my 16610 clasp but you need to tighten it with a thin layer of tape, and wear the watch one notch looser so that if you bend your wrist it doesn’t pop open.
The cheap ones seem to be machined a bit “sloppier” which is what makes me wonder if the steel reef ones for 10x the price are made somewhere different and to better tolerances.

These are super handy, bought a few to see if I could get a better fit/more comfort for my small wrists and they work a treat.

Been using this for more than a year now on a raffles bracelet. The screw hole is on the reversed side but it works just fine.

does anyone know where I can find an aftermarket vintage clasp with 7 holes Like what @nickelodeon shared in the first post?
the raffles ones have 6 holes and shorter.

Whoa! You have any pics of it installed in a Rolex clasp? This seems so simple - not sure why it wouldn’t be a regular “thing”

I finally got an easy link from AliX that wasn’t too loose. Maybe it’s the luck of the draw but the one from this store seems good.

I just found this on AliExpress: C$33.14 | 904L Steel Silver 16mm*9mm Connector Spare Links End Parts For Rolex Daytona GMT Water Ghost Submariner Watch Band Accessories
