Hi all,

Been lurking for some time and have now registered. Im a huge watch fan and have several in my collection right now. All but one are gens. The one rep I have is a gold tone "SUB" cheapie NY street vendor type.

Right now I looking for a good and reliable rep in either a Omega or Rolex maybe a Pam. The most important part to me is figuring out what type movement will give me the best reliability.

I love the look of a chrono but I am lead to belive the movement in these are iffy or "luck of the draw" with out any service.

There are quite a few well reliable chronos out there to be had (Tag Link Chrono is an example) - I just suggest you stay away from chronos that have the seconds dial @ 6 o'clock. You're shooting dice if u purchase one.

Hello and welcome. I guess I have been very lucky. I have about 12 or so chrono reps and all have worked flawlessly. The only problem I have had was with a crown on one of my PAM's and the dealer replaced the watch. Good luck in your search

therer have been many identical or very similar threads recently regarding Asians and Swiss movements....I personaly have been one of the lucky ones both ways....great luck with asians...old and new and with swiss eta but others have varying experiences...am sure you have read some of these threads but if not herre are a few to start with
