The problem is that in the last years, the replicas have reached an outstanding level. You basically cant tell them apart unless you really know what you are looking for.
Replica watches USUALLY have the following problems
1. The crystal has a blue tint from the AR coating. Genuine panerai watches always have colorless AR coating.
2. The crown guard doesn't sit nicely to the case.
3. The crown guard has rounded inner edges.
4. The font/numbers are off.
5. The lume is weak.
6. The cannon pin is not flat and/or polished.
7. The swan neck screw is sometimes SHORT.
8. The swan neck DOES NOT TOUCH THE DAGGER.
9. The incabloc shape is wrong
Fine... but it gets worser!
