Acceptable TAG Carrera Day/Date ?

Hey guys, I just received my Carrera this morning from a trusted dealer at another forum. Dealer will remain anonymous for now...

I want to know everyone's opinion about the rep I received.. there are a few things on it that I feel should have better quality but you be the judge

First up, Dial @ 6: look at the edges and how roughly it's finished

Dial @ 12: same thing about the finish on the outer and inner circles; take note of the "50" on the top left and how it's not even; also a white dot below "20"
and to add: that white dot on the red tip of the 30min hand

Piece of hair or some sort of string

Piece of loose metal moving about the dial and crooked "1" off the "15"...it's WAY off

Lastly, overall pic of the watch:

I know I zoomed some of the pics for a better look but these are definitely noticeable without zooming in.
What do you guys think? Am I just being a beeyotch about this? Or should there be something done from the dealer side of things?

The inside logo is decent... the one on the outside though, not so much. Anyone got any TAG boxes to compare?

Hey, you know who.

Boxes are never that good. I'd choose my battles. You know my opinion on that watch. Unacceptable. And the dealer is supposed to send you pics for approval before sending the watch, not vice versa, which is what happened.

Not OK in my opinion, not by a long shot. I would not be happy.

I would be unhappy with that too, but I have seen a number of gens with slightly misaligned numbers on dial (they are all hand applied, so its not uncommon with TH)

The hair/piece of metal on the dial are easy enough to fix, just open it up, pull out the movement, and use some Rodico to clean it.

There is no acceptable TAG... There is only Heuer and Heuer is gone.

Actually, way back in the 80's, I remember seeing Quartz Tag Sub reps in Korea that looked BETTER than the 'real' ones.
