about to buy a pam 111 sandwich or sauasge ??????

im about to but a my first pam 111 but not sure what a sausage dial is i think a sandwich dial speaks for itself buts whats a sausage dial and whats the best to get between the 2
please help

For sandwich dial the lume is applied on a base metal with the top plate cut out with numbers the marker will then be the cut out numbers with the base plate action as the colored base.

For sausage dial the numbers itself is coated with lume.
