Many of these NFL guys are thugs and criminals, and if it weren't for one particular skill that is earning them millions of dollars, they would be in jail. We just happen to see the unlucky ones get caught or the ones who are so bad that they cannot control themselves, despite the obscene amounts of money they have.
It's pathetic and our society perpetuates this cycle where awful, creepy people are rewarded with astronomical amounts of wealth because they can run fast or catch a ball. Ignore the fact that they are horrible human beings and you would never want to be alone with them in the locker room or on the street after dark. As long as they sell tickets we'll just look the other way until they mess up.
