A7753 date change button stopped working

Hello on my a7753 watch date change button stopped working. I cant even push the button.

Few months later i cant even change date via crown, it does not change date at midnight. Chronos works perfect. Sometimes it changes date like it should after 24 hour and then stopa for few days...

Can you tell me if this is common error and if you need new parts or can it be fixed only with service and no new parts?

no one can give you an exact answer until the movement is extracted from the watch.

1. This is not a "common error"
2. There sounds like a issue internally with the movement. What exactly cannot be determined until it's examined by a watchsmith.. Plan on a movement service if it's a watch you like. Otherwise sell it as broken in m2m. Just curious, what is the watch?.
