I've got a Gen Pam388 dial and I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the KW 388 so I can do a franken build with gen dial. I checked the center to seconds and center to date window spacing on the dial and it looks to be identical to the A7750 that I have on hand. However I have heard that the KW 388 will use a Seagull 2555. Can anyone answer if the spacing on the A7750 is the same as the 2555?

In the mean time check out this lume shot....this is in a brightly lit room! WOW!!!

And with the lights off I could almost read by this light. Gen lume is crazy:

What the hell did they do to that dial? :( looks pretty scratched. I don't think I'd pick a scratched gen dial over a relumed rep dial, maybe if it's a vintage build.

I am going to hit it with some matte clear to cover the scuffs... I don't really care about the marks. It adds to the character and the story of the watch. To me a gen dial is a gen dial. Scuffed or not, in this condition, it's worth putting in a watch. I got a good deal on it BTW, so not to worry.

Whoever warned you that the kw388 won't be using a 7750 movement must be a hell of a guy. You should really thank him!

Seriously!!! What a guy he must be!

Thank you!

Did you get that info straight from mehmet? Alen at kuvarsit said he didn't know and would have to check with mehmet. I asked about the spacing but didn't get an answer.

Yeah I love the marks personally... wouldn't mess with it too much. That lume is ridiculous! Look forward to your build. :cheer:

Agreed! I'm stoked about the dial. i think it will look sweet. Again to me it's about the project, the story, and the imperfection that make it cool. Anyone can have a perfect dial, that's the easy, just click order from one of our TDs. Getting a gen dial with a little character is a bit more rare.

Yes, that was directly from mehmet. He's become a bit of a pen pal of mine and is a very nice and helpful fellow.
