So recently i bought this watch:

The OMG Daytona with A7750 movement (slim ?)

I did my research beforehand and i own an extensive watch collection (mostly reps)
I also read Ziggyzumba's post (from RWG) he seems to be very familiar with servicing this watch and has posted lots of details of the A7750 movement with secs @6

I bought my watch not from Trusty but from some other TD, not gonna call names but he refuses warranty or any assistance because straight after unboxing the watch stopped working.

Nonetheless i adjusted the watch to my wrist size and wound it manually, nothing but after moving it a bit more and taking pics it started running again.
Chrono worked, time was pretty accurate but if i held it in some position the watch stopped working and only would continiue if i shaked it a bit around, pulled the crown etc...

So i send it to my local watch smith, he has tons experience with all kind of movements, explained him the issues with this watch and rep movement, he probably thought i was bluffing and told me its gonna be ready within 2 days but now a week further he told me he needed a few extra days so iam bracing me for a total failure.

Another TD told me he could get a replacement movement from OMF for $150

But i want the watch running, are there other replacement movements that fit in this OMF Daytona ?
And lets say i don't mind the secs @6 would my options expand ?

I prefer the chrono to be working, i wont use it much but just to have it, i don't mind the order of the secs @6 if it can expand my possibilities.
Best of all would be another movement, better quality, serviceable that would fit the case.

Just forget it, don't invest anymore money into this 7750 and buy a 4130 Daytona. Buy once cry once.

But all of this stuff you're talking about is impossible with the 7750 Daytona, which is the definition of a unstable movement. You want a working chrono, 4130.

I dont have a $1000 bucks, so you're telling me no other movement can fit in this case ?
not even if the chrono is disabled or hasn't got the secs at 6 ?

Yes. The 7750 used in Daytona is some weird butchered 7750 with some gears to make it shift the seconds from 6 to 9. This makes it mean there is no easy movement to swap in. No spare parts.

If your TD says he can get movement to put it in, sure. But this doesnt change that this movement is dogshit.

Also the chrono WORKS but using it is guaranteed to blow up your watch and is advised you never ever run it.

First of all, it's $830, not $1000. Secondly, the $830 is a spending, the $150 to swap movement is more like throwing it away and waiting to spend another $150. I am just telling you what's your best option.
