:hypnotized: Hi Guys, I have a problem that has been bugging my A7750 on a APROO.

Auto winding the watch does get the movement going however that does not build any reserve at all and the movement will stop in a couple of minutes. Often stopping at the 20 - 30 seconds movement on the 12'oclock seconds hand.

As you guys know, manual winding should be the last resort for A7750 since they are pretty fragile given the number of gears. But after reading some articles, decided to give it a try since it is known to kick start the movement if the watch was left idle.
However, when manual winding, it does not kick start the movement at all and in fact after slowly manual winding it a couple of turns like approximately 10-15 turns, the crown gets tighter and then suddenly there's this noise of gears like spinning inside the watch movement, a little like the gears unwind themselves.

Do anyone of you guys experience this before?

Kindly appreciate any help on this issue.

I hope it is not a problem with either the main spring or the gears with the teeth worn out? :berry:

Hi, You already know what to do. Sometimes every thing mechanic needs a checkup, cleaning and fresh oil. Send it off for repairs.

I have the same issue with my 7750. When I try to manual wind it makes a whirring noise and is tough to wind like all the gears are engaged. Auto winding works fine though.

If I send it off to repair is it a complicated issue to fix? Does it have to go to a watchsmith like Domi or can my local watch repairer fix this type of issue?

Any insight appreciated.
