Hey guys,

im pretty new to this hobby. im currently owning a sub v7 with an A2836.

im thinking about upgrading to an ETA 2836-2. Is it worth upgrading or should i maybe stick to a completely new watch with a SH3135(instant service).

My main concern is about the time keeping capabilitys. My regulated A2836 is currently running about +25sec a day(which results in correcting the time once a week).

Are these numbers going to improve when upgrading to an ETA2836-2 or SH3135?

Thx in advance :)

Swiss 2836 new or serviced is the beat choice for reliability and time keeping. If you don’t care about the difference between 2836 and 3135, crown height, time setting direction, than Swiss is your best choice.

If you care about the aforementioned and want the characteristics of a 3135 then you should get a sh3135 with a service and some genuine parts. This will be a more expensive route.
