A2824 substitute without keyless works problem ?

Hi folks,
Cause I hate the fragile keyless works in the 2824 I normally use NH35/38 in my builds.
Now I'm building a 36mm DJ (with a mickeymouse dial ) and need to use a DWO. Raffles told me I have to use an 2824 for that. My question: Is there any other movement (maybe seagul) which has the same DW ?

Go for a seagull 2130 or pt5000. These are 2824 clones and have a very good quality. Never had keyless issues on any of them

id ssume the dwo would work on any movement if the dial hole is in the same position
i used a TC 2824 DWO on a 2813 before

I don't think you can run away from the potential keyless work issues any longer.

What exactly you're planning to build?

My aktuell build is a 36mm DJ with mickymouse dial
30 years ago such dials have been available.
