A "quick" clasp engraving comparison between the 42mm and 45mm Planet Ocean

I've seen the wrong information passed around on some of the forums re. clasp engravings for 42mm vs. 45mm...

For the new guys looking to pick up their first PO, please note:

Gen 42mm came with and without the PROFESSIONAL engraving on the clasp. There were TWO versions (thanks for correcting me Q5?)

42mm without the PROFESSIONAL engraving


42mm with the PROFESSIONAL engraving




Gen 45mm DOES have the PROFESSIONAL engraving on the clasp


Please keep an eye out for this detail on your QC photos and etc...some of the new PO reps have this issue corrected, some from what I have seen do not.

At what point did this transition happen? Did the earlier batch of 42mm models not come with the engraving? Funny I've never seen the Professional engraving in the store before. My gen bracelet doesnt have the engraving either...I thought it was a sure shot.

I just googled it and it appears it does exist!

i've been wearing PO's for @ 6 years now off and on, ans so far absolutely NO ONE has ever asked to examine my clasp engraving...Hmmmmmm....:lol:
