A question to 42mm Planet Ocean modders (crystal)

My GEN crystal doesn't fit. It went right through. According to my watch modder - i need the GEN crystal gasket for the GEN crystal to fit. Is this true or am i wasting my money?

any experience modders?

the 5th GEN 42mm.

The GEN dial, GEN bezel and He Valve fits - although the GEN He valve TUBE needs some modification because the GEN tube is longer - thus the He valve doesn't sit flush with the case. Please see my pix for reference.

I used the Gen gasket on my FrUPO.
