Actually, I like to solve my problems directly with the dealer. I have always praised Trusty/ Andrew positively, you can even read about that in the forum. But at some point, all the patience and understanding comes to an end.
What happened so far:
11.10.2022 – placed my order (transhipment via UK to EU)
12.10.2022 – received payment informations
12.10.2022 – I payed via bank wire
14.10.2022 – received mail from Andrew, bank transfer was ok
01.11.2022 – nothing since 14.10., I asked kindly for some informations
01.11.2022 – instant reply, GMF was closed, I should be patient
11.11.2022 – finally the QC pics
11.11.2022 – approved the QC pics
17.11.2022 – watch was send, received tracking number
08.12.2022 – watch arrived in UK, sender preaparing item.
18.12.2022 – asked if any updates available
18.12.2022 – Andrew replied, delay due the strikes in UK.
Since then I asked several times, but no one answered. As I said, the status at Royal Mail still says “sender preparing item”. I'm not a moron, I know china has been struggling with huge covid restrictions. And yes, Royal Mail had to deal with some strikes BEFORE christmas. These are all scenarios which the dealer cannot control. However, I have now contacted Royal Mail. The package was electronically in the system, but nothing more. Even IF the package was physically delivered to a branch and shipped, it should have arrived in Germany long ago.
So two options according to Royal Mail:
The package has not been sent.
or
The package was lost.
Even if something went wrong, Trusty/ Andrew could just be open about it. Or at least answer at all.
