A pair of Noob Day-Date 40's...*Pics*

So as the title says, I just wanted to share some pictures of two Noob DD 40’s. I’ve yet to see much discussion of these particular models on the forums, especially compared to other popular Rolex models so I figured I’d help a future buyer out with being able to see consumer photos rather than what we receive from TD’s.

Only the YG version is mine, as the other belongs to a family member. Overall, I can say that we are both very happy with our purchases thus far. There’s a lot of debates on the forum about Noob vs BP for the day-dates, but as its been said before, it all comes down to preference and what flaws you are willing to live with.

The photos aren’t that great as I did not have the proper lens handy at the given moment, but they’ll do…If anyone has questions regarding general ownership of the watches, let me know!

Definitely agree! It doesn't have to be worn everyday but it is a great compliment to ones collection imo.

Wish we had a side by side Noob vs BP. That said, saw some news that they are close to closing the gen movement. Might prompt a v2.

Issues with BP I see is bezel top wrong & day font font not gen
Issues with Noob is no wrapped version so good color might not be close and day font better but "S A TURDAY"

Looks quite nice for a rep. Day wheel sits too low though. Did they improve anything recently? Hows the bracelet feel and heft of the watch? Does it still feel very light?

Hard for me to say whether or not anything was improved over previous models as this is my first of this style - nonetheless, I have no complaints. Quality of the bracelet is really good...weight could obviously be better (compared to a full 18kt gen) but it doesn't really bother me as I won't be passing it around for everyone to hold lol.

Wow this is really nice. This would be the model I would get if I went gen. I had a BP DD and i sold it the next day as it was so flimsy and light.
