Well, when I came into this fantastic world of beautiful replica watches I noticed that Panerai was THE hottest thing all around the different forums. Strange, since I've never seen or heard about the brand before. Not something you usually run into here in Norway....

Anyway, I decided that it was only one way to find out more; read, read and buy. In one post I read that a newbie buying a Fiddy for his first PAM was like losing his virginity to a porn star. That sounded fun , so I went for this one arriving today. Sorry for the pic quality, Noob also with the camera

I really like the display back and the movement too, too bad it looks so weird wearing it that way...
(WTF, is this picture upside down or what?)

I know that this watch is discussed in details for hours and hours, nevertheless, I was impressed of the attention paid to details - but remember I have never seen one of these live

And finally the wrist shot, not too big for me, whattyathink???

Kiddin, still this watch is jomangeez, will take me some time to wear this in, if ever!

Building quality, appearance, overall feel, it's all there!....but I'm sorry to say that I am not 100% sure if the Panerai-fever will take me, it remains to be seen. I'll do some mods on the strap myself (thx chrgod), if this fails I will buy a good quality strap and then see if this watch will go along with me.

Thx for looking.

Thanks Sean, got it from Andrew. I read page up and down about pro et contra regarding 127 from different dealers, and understood that Davidsen got the best...(?) but went for safety, and Andrew has never let me down.

haha good wrist shot :p

seriously though nice wrist shot. Good straps really bring the watch out though. but i have to say it is an acquired taste. I thought nothing of pams until later on in my rep collecting hobby. now i'm a nut!

Who has the best straps if you are going the Panerai route?

Do any of the dealers offer quality straps with the watches they sell?

Lol, I thought when I saw the first wristshot. haha

Great choice for first pam. Imho the only two pams that are ever needed is the one you have + a 111h or 177h depending what you prefer.

Nice post. That first pic had me roflmao as well.

Well you did jump in with both feet getting the swiss "big dog" of pams.

Get a quality strap. It's a night and day difference and really does make the watch. The stock straps are good for holding the buckle to the watch while in transit to you, that's about it.

Welcome to the Darkside; the PAM fever is all around. I'm wheezing and coughing, and I think I'm coming down with one myself...

Great pic, and great before and after pics of your arm... did you work out much? j/k
