Hi everyone,
I posted a pre-a 004 Gen restoration project yesterday, where I mistakenly combined pictures from another Gen project (026A).... the pictuer issue has been all sorted out now
Well since it was just completed today I decided to move forward and have the pics from the other (a Gen 026A) restoration project posted up. The watch underwent the very same treatment like the 004 went trough (from my other thread from yesterday).
1. Removing old PVD coating
2. Getting out all the dents and inconsistencies from the case set
3. Beadblasting
4. DLC coating
5. Overhauling the movement
6. Putting the watch back together
7. Pressure testing and regulating
Enjoy... (double checked the pics, so not to allow embarrassing situations like the one from yesterday to take place ever again)
