A few questions about straps...

So I just got my first rep, a PAM90, I love it. I am now looking for a strap to put on it. I really want a leather strap I think, so my question is does anyone sell leather straps with deployant clasps?

firstly, welcome to the PAM club, its addictive and just gets better and better.

as for your question, i believe the dealers are able to sell you a set (strap+deployant buckle) so you might wana drop them a PM.

cost wise ya looking at usd60+ upwards for such a combo.

Like asheron said most of the dealers can sell you the deployment clasp but if you want a strap not too thin or a quality leather buy the deployant alone and buy a good strap (look the strap section here for example).

Is there a reason for wanting a deployant clasp/buckle? The Pre-V buckles look just as good on the auto's.

Check with PANATIME.com or TheWatchBoys.com or Don Ginsler. There is a straps thread stickied at the top of the forum that will give you links to all of the major strap makers out there.

I can only think of panatime.com as a source that has calf straps made for deployant buckles. The only deployant straps offered by the replica watch dealers are rubber, black croc, and brown croc.

Personally, deploy buckles look best on auto models and tang buckles look (and feel better on ALL my watches!) better on manual-wind models.

I just took my deployant buckle/strap combo off my 40mm 241 Automatic.
Switched to a strap with a tang buckle.. going back and forth is one of the fun things about PAMS.... one watch and hundreds of strap combos.
+1 on Panatime for Deployant straps and other PAM parts. Used them often.
