I know Davidsen has come in for some flack lately over his quality control, so I thought I should just recount a brief story. I ordered a 056 Titanium Destro from him which arrived amazingly quickly and without a hitch. Payment was easy. I had to flip the CG and set out to make my first mod: planing the CG and filing the contour to make it lie flatter against the watch body. All was well 'til I dropped one of the !@#$% screws that holds the CG to the watch and could not find it among the cobwebs of the garage floor. I emailed Davidsen and asked him for two new ones plus 2 new ones for my 112 I bought from him--in case I get fumble-fingered with one of those too. He very quickly had 4 screws in the mail, sent by registered post, and withouut any cost to me. I've only bought 2 reps. Both from Davidsen. Will I deal with him again? Without a moment's hesitation. Perhaps this information might offer comfort to anyone contemplating buying from him but unsure of his service.
