Just placed another order with JTIME, this will be order number 8 with Li, and so up to this point, everything is going as well as usual.
I'd been torn between two factories for this watch, and decided to go with GMF and take the gamble on the movement.
However, the watch arrived at JTIME damaged, and failed their QC - so I took this as an omen and changed my order to the Clean version instead (which I probably should have ordered originally anyway)
Timeline as follows;

21/03/25 - Ordered GMF Explorer II Polar 226570, paid via Wise
31/03/25 - Advised delays from factory, await updates
08/04/25 - Advised watch arrived scratched from factory on 06/03/25, returned to GMF and replacement requested
08/04/25 - Changed order to same watch from CF with the DD3285 movement instead, paid difference via Wise and advised roughly 2 weeks wait time

Service and communication from Li has been top notch as ever.

That’s what I want to get. It seems great (CF Polar.)

It’s a fantastic watch! And no, the hands and indices are matte black, no shine at all

Thanks! Yeah I'm really happy with it tbh, it's had more than it's fair share of wrist time since I got it - I've actually had it on more than my recently acquired Clean 126710BLRO, which surprised me when I realised. I find myself naturally drawn to it every time I open my watchbox!

Here's couple more to help tip you over the edge:

Same. Pepsi is so boring. Explorer is way more fun to wear daily.

It's a shame though because in my eyes a true GMT needs the bidirectional bezel. So the Explorer 2 hasn't dethroned my Pepsi as a travel GMT... yet

Yeah I agree, it's a fantastic looking watch and legibility at a glance is off the chart!
What's surprised me the most is that despite being larger, the Explorer actually feels more comfortable on my wrist.
Bearing in mind I have a relatively small, bony wrist; I was expecting the 40mm GMT on jubilee to be more comfortable, however the opposite is true - the 42mm Explorer on oyster "feeling" a lot more comfortable. Strange!

It rides super low. It's thinner than a sub if you can believe it. The caseback is super thin and it'a shockingly thin overall. The larger bracelet helps secure it on wrist.

Ahh I never noticed that!
It makes perfect sense though, it definitely conforms to my wrist better and just feels overall more comfortable than the Pepsi.
I find it hides it's extra size very well - probably because it sits lower and more snug!
