So I have been informed that the 82's will not be ready...for a while, until march something.

I'm not tooooo happy with that, but I have some choices.

36, 177h upgraded, 113, 55 or what else he has.

Or I can wait until the 82 is ready...

What do y'all think?

The 177 has fewer flaws and good lume and number and marker color. The others don't. I just got the upgraded 005 as well, and while the font and logo is better the funky green numbers and markers and sub-par lume has to be corrected.

DO YOU REALLY WANT MY OPINION???

i think all the new davidsen offerings you mention are really bad.

the white dials lack recessed subsecond dial and the numbers are "flat" painted on. very fako looking, worse than the canal street specials.

the titanium watch dials...my god, what a mess! the dials are a disaster in my opinion. all of them.

i think davidsen's more interesting stuff is the vintage offerings and custom, unbranded watches...like the pvd mm20 with gold hands.

i'd stay away from his 44mm luminor offerings until much improvement is made. the thick AR is completely fake looking on all of them, and the dials on josh or andrew's 111 and 005 are much much better, as is the AR coating.

also, his cases are not standard 1:1. in fact, the 44mm luminors are smaller in thickness and thickness of lugs compared to my other reps and my gens.

i give davidsen credit for the vintage/custom stuff and his effort in trying to offer all kinds of services/watches/parts others don't...but i think many of his watches, especially his 44mm offerings are a disaster! sorry but i have to be honest and have bit my lips too long since he is worshipped in many parts, even when he produces bad product and almost always messes up orders, sends defective/badly put together wathes, etc.

his 44mm luminors--all of them--need serious improvement even to be on par with other reps from other dealers here, much less look like a gen!

i'd avoid all the watches you mention, and i would not wait two months for the 082 as i doubt the other problems will be fixed.

I'm going to grab an upgraded 177h.

If it sucks as much as the 82, I will probably be unhappy with the whole thing.

Which ones would you recomend and from whom? Any ideas on Ruby's 111H on bracelet? I am always open to opinions.

I just sent mine back to davidsen also. I exchanged it for his new GMT automatic. I think that one looks great. I chose that because i wanted a auto pam. I just got his fiddy and let me tell you that one is right on the money. You would be very happy with the fiddy other than that i agree his vintage watches are nice.

thats the one i am going to buy. i was waiting for davidsen to fix the problems on these but i want to use the ss bracelet and it won't work on his. i will get ruby's, fix the cannon pin and superlume it.

i already have her 113e and i think it is the best version of that watch you can get. the font is a little light and the subdial isn't recessed but nobody's is and the subdial markings are in the correct location in relation to the 10 amd 8 oclock markers.

I'm actually more bummed out about the 82 than I thought...

I'm just gana get a refund.

maybe get a pam down the line from somewhere but I'm just not happy right now with the whole experince.

I wanted perfection and got...something far from it.

it makes me want to just buy a gen pam.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience Novesh. The only one that i can think of the Fiddy. I know you would be happy with that one but I can understand how you feel because I am in the same boat. I exchanged mine for the GMT. I just hope that was not a mistake.
