This looks the part @jonatutu. The dial print looks correct and like a late model gen or possibly service dial. Insert pearl and font look correct. The lug engraving appears to be panto. Provlem I have is that it all looks so fresh. Do yoi have access to serial number or movement photos? Date disc has an absence of serifs and that makes me question it because the 4 on the insert does have serifs. Ask the seller for a clean photo of the crown pulled out with the tube visable and a movement shot as well as the inside of the case back.
As is always the rule. Buy the seller not the watch. Is this from a trusted source? Can you see it in person? Is it being advertised as 100% gen?
Anyone else want to chime in here? @PaulyWalnuts you have a similar era gen sub. What do you think?

Thanks for giving your feedback. I have access to the serial number but for privacy wise I didnt upload them. May I ask how or what can i do
with the serial to check the watch is authentic.
What do you mean by date disc has an absence of serifs? On the net I notice they have a flat 4/serifs font date disc.
As for the movement no photos from seller. Not sure if my watch maker will be able to do authentication on the 2824
movement as I feel this can be easily modify by the seller to have a gen rotor.
You can check if the serial number matches the age of the watch by using a serial number database. Send pics of the serial number and the movement to Hugo and I, and definitely, like @Hugop said, trust the seller. Are you buying this off Craigslist or off a forum or something? A pawn shop? eBay?

Pmed. Buying the watch from a open to public local forum in my country. Case condition looks used but engraving looks pristine just worry it might be a custom engraved high end case.
It's not a commonly replicated model, if at all. Is the seller local to you? I'd have them meet you at your local Tudor dealer if they are [emoji13][emoji106]

True Paul, I have never seen one from the rep factories. The gen dials were very easy to get a couple of years ago. We should have bought all we could get. They were mostly under $100. Now they fetch 8-10 times that. It's not a commonly replicated model, if at all. Is the seller local to you? I'd have them meet you at your local Tudor dealer if they are [emoji13][emoji106]
