7750 Winding Question

Hi Gents,

With the A7750 just say you leave it in the winder once it reaches full wind is the rotor meant to feel resistance in the winding direction?

In the free spinning direction the rotor always spins no issues. But I was looking at one of my 7750 based movements and it seems that in the winding direction there is a bit of resistence and sometimes the rotor gets stuck. A little movement with my wrist and it continues to moves in the winding direction.

I left it off the winder last night on purpose to see if my theory may be true and it seems like the rotor spins in the winding direction more freely when its not fully wound? Can anyone confirm this?

Cheers

Don't know bout 7750, but the 2836 does that mate, the rotor spins like there's a resistance when it is fully wound.

^ Thanks I knew the 28XX have that but I want to know about the 7750.

I think I am being worried for nothing as I thought the rotor was stuck but in hindsight it might be the way it works. LOL - cant find any info on that on the web or on any of the forums. Maybe a watch maker can chime in

^ Yeah i read that already but still doesn't explicitly say that once the mainspring is fully wound the rotor will wont be able to spin in the winding direction.
