Is there a link to Panerai`s Unitas 6497 movements history?
I`d like to know how accurate the swiss (not asian) Pre-G and H-Series Rep movements were. Especially the F-Series, because the way-off engraving of the actual H-Series leads me to prefer a F-Series (or even older generation) movement for 44mm cases.
I could imagine that the F-Series were the most accurate ones, because the G and H don`t seem to have really working swan necks and way-off engraving on H-Series (in 47mm cases it seems to fit).
The original F-Series didn`t have swan neck adjustment if I`m right and the engraving on the rep version seems pretty accurate and not off.
Or am I wrong and the F-Series is full of flaws?
I don`t know where I found this pic, I think it was in one of Enzo`s posts. Nice, isn`t it?

Edit:
On one of Josh`s pictures you can see the whole Officine Panerai Firenze engraving on a F movement, in a 44mm Ti case with display back. ((Pam036). Tried to upload it, no success...
