hi folks,
today I want to share a special watch with you - just some words before I let the pics speak for themselves...
A few month ago every once in a while some really cool builds of vintage PAMs popped up here and there on RWI from different members and I got interested more and more in vintage PAMs. I read and read and read...
I really love the pre-V era of Panerai with all its´ cool watches build in that time and I bought a few but never thought I will ever will get a vintage PAM simply because of their size. 47mm is a no no for my skinny wrists unfortunately...but as we all know - the complete history of PANERAI is interesting and outstanding. I inhaled every information I could get about our beloved brand and it is that history which make a lot of you guys obey the PAM Temple each and every day, too...just like me.
So it was only a question of time to get a piece out of the time when it all began...ignoring the fact that it is not wearable for me. I tried several 47mm PAMs in the past but was not really happy with them.
Anyway one day I saw THE 47mm vintage watch I fell in love within a flash.
It was a 6152 destro build by @kilowattore and that was it...i asked him if it would be possible to sell this watch to me - he denied- tragic at that moment...I asked him if it would be possible to build one for me - he told me it would be - I felt great!
After some weeks of waiting I received a package from Italy and I am really, really happy with the result...my first vintage PAM, build by a great member, with lots of patience and great skills - thank you again kilo, for building this!
I added a strap and got the chance to pick up a nice box for storage....
now...let the pictures speak for themselves...I hope you enjoy them as I did taking them thanks for your interest!
unpacking is always exciting
look at this...
take it out of the box and explore all the history...
everything on this beauty aged well...
look at these curves....
simple & stunning back
it feels so good to show the scars and scratches in this case
ahhhhh ...scratch...and nobody cares
put on some nice straps....
...

thanks for your interest!
