Hi fellow enthusiasts, I don't post often but have collected various reps over the years.
I currently own 6 - oops edit that to "7" Breitling reps, I have enjoyed these watches, my Steelfish was a daily wear for many years.
Some are no longer keeping time well or will intermittently stop, others still seem to work well, I will comment on each as we go.
I am hoping to get some feedback on these watches, as I didn't keep records on which I bought from who, or even when.
So, with a few photos to be posted here shortly, can tell me if these are worth servicing and if they are considered nwbig, first class or garbage.
Ready for the photo test? Here they come in follow up posts, stand by...
Starting off with a simple front/back photo of each, happy to take more detailed photos of anything else you need to give me feedback...

First is my beloved Breitling Super Ocean Steelfish A17390 - Stainless / Blue Face / SS Bracelet Strap.
I have had this for years, it suddenly stopped working, time for service...
She is dirty and ready for a cleaning, ignore that part, in person she still looks good.

Breitling Avenger Seawolf A17330 – Black / Black Face / Black Rubber Strap.
Working intermittently, was a problem the day I received it, virtually never worn yet....

Breitling Super Ocean II A17392 – Stainless Black Ring / Blue Face / Blue Rubber Strap
Also a problem from the start, the second hand was loose in the watch, not connected, I reconnected it myself and have worn it a few times.
It intermittently stops working.

Hey there -

So I went through your listing of Breitlings and I see your concerns. Let me list them in order.

1. Steelfish: Not very high quality. Most likely a 2813 movement. Most valuable part might be the bracelet.

2. Avenger Seawolf DLC: Same as above. Not a grade A rep as the caseback does not match the rest of the watch and the bezel is wrong. Probably a 2813. If its a decent 2824, it would be worth servicing.

3. SuperOcean II 44 Blue - Noob version. A keeper, worth servicing to get right. I've had several, they are usually solid 2824 movements.

4. SuperOcean Heritage: Best thing about it is the strap. Don't waste your time.

5. Chronomat: Looks decent, early HF version. It's a keeper.

6. Navitimer A23322: Not the good BP verison, you can tell by the date wheel. Good for parts.

7. Colt GMT: Definitely not a quality rep. Poor dial, unknown movement. GMTs are all finicky, and even the top grade Rolex GMTs are pretty crap. Not worth investing a dime into.

So that's the brief overview. For several of them you need to determine whether its a low beat 2813 or a high beat 2824 or 2836 clone movement. The easiest way to tell is by turning the crown in the third position (stem pulled all the way out to set the minutes). When you turn the crown to make the minute hand move, which way do you have to turn (clockwise, anti-clockwise) to advance the minute hand? Also, for every rotation, does the hand move forward 30-45 minutes or more like an hour plus? The blue SuperOcean II should absolutely have a 2824, so use that as a baseline. The Steelfish, Seawolf, SO Heritage, and Colt GMT will have variants of 2813/282/4/2836. The Chronomat and Navitimer will have 7750s.

Test each and let me know what you find out, then I can give you recommendations based upon your answers.

Thanks for the help, so here is the scoop:
1) Steel - anticlockwise, moves an hour plus
2) Seawolf - anticlockwise, moves an hour plus
3) SuperOcean II - anticlockwise, moves 45 mins plus?
4) SuperOcean Heritage - anticlockwise, moves an hour plus
5) Chronomat - anticlockwise, moves 45 mins
6) Navitimer - anticlockwise, moves 45 mins
7) Colt - anticlockwise, move 1 hour plus

So they all seem to move anticlockwise....
Only the SOII (maybe), the Chronomat and the Navitimer are 45min per rotation.
